Laveen Elementary School held its Ohana Run 2021 on March 18. “Ohana” is a Hawaiian term that means “family” and family means no one is left beyond or forgotten.
This fun run included all Laveen Elementary School students, whether they are attending in person or online. In person students completed laps on a fun track filled with inflatables and live music. Online students danced virtually with the DanceFit Crew online! All students and staff received Ohana Run 2021 T-shirts.
The Ohana Run 2021 is a community building event and a celebration of Laveen students and staff that continue to work hard and persevere in preparation for state testing. The event was made possible by support from the following community sponsors:
